Maintenance 101 provides an introduction to preventative maintenance in housing co-ops. It explains why routine maintenance matters and how planning ahead protects your co-op’s buildings and finances.
You will learn about common maintenance responsibilities, the purpose of an annual maintenance calendar, and the roles of the board, management, and members. By the end, you will understand how preventative maintenance supports long-term sustainability.
This course is intended for board members, maintenance committee members, managers, and engaged co-op members.
The course is designed to take no more than 30 minutes to complete.
