You and your co-op: starting out as a housing co-op manager is an introductory course for co-op staff or managers in Ontario who are new in their role or interested in a refresher. Take this online, on-demand course at your own pace when it suits you!

The course takes one to two hours and covers the following topics:

• What makes co-ops different from other non-profit housing?

• The co-op structure and your job as manager
• Different co-op funding programs
• Housing co-op funding regulators
• Summary and next steps

Note: This course is currently offered in English only. Course cost includes Ontario sales tax.

This online course is a great first step in ongoing education to be an effective housing co-op manager. It is adapted from a section of the popular two-day training event, Intro to co-op housing management in Ontario which returns in 2024; an in-person lively event where managers benefit from working with each other and making connections.
